Ariel is introduced, creating a storm
Ariel is a spirit and has been voted to be the new leader of the island by the other spirits, as they felt he could do a good job. An evil spirit, called Sycorax, is enraged and puts a spell on all the spirits to become her slave for eternity.

Happy New Year
I hope you have had a great break and that Father Christmas visited your house. I look forward to hearing all about it.
The Year 4 team have been busy getting things ready for next term, including our second pond dip at Solaris and our new topic Playlist which has lots of creative things as well as the science of sound.
